Background of creating PSIRT DB
The number of security incident is increasing and organizing certain process/ team responding to these incidents is essential for Brother group.
Also, all incidents must be handled with a specific way that all PSIRT-related members can obtain the same information.
Purpose of PSIRT DB
To manage all security incidents among Brother group, the PSIRT DB has been created.
Creating reports inside of PSIRT DB will trigger the PSIRT team at BIL to start taking action for each incident and countermeasures will be considered accordingly.
These histories can be shared at PSIRT DB.
Who can access to PSIRT DB
Only those who have the access right of PSIRT DB.
What kind of information can be obtained from PSIRT DB
- Related products and countries
- Date of reported incidents
- Rank of incidents
- Details of incidents
- Countermeasure for the incidents
- Status such as Closed, Open, Reopen
- Closed and reopen date of report

4.Update Summary
*Temporary countermeasure may be added as needed.
5.Add countermeasure
*Necessarily improvement will be implemented.
Note:
- If the same incident occurs and the report still open, please report it as the same incident.
- If the same incident occurs after having closed the report, please reopen that report.
Hint:
In case that the same incident is confirmed to occur on other product categories,
BIL will copy the created report to these categories,
investigate it separately and consider the countermeasures for each categories.
